Improve your breathing habits with this simple Breathing exercise to use In the saddle or on the ground.
Here is a super simple way of using your breathing when riding (or on the ground):
Sitting on a chair, take a long, soft exhalation, as if you wanted to fog a window. Can you feel how it softens your energy, relaxes, and brings your center of gravity down?
Try it in the saddle, and see how your horse responds!
Use this exercise when you need to calm yourself or your horse, and to let go of tension.
